check the fuses if no heat sounds like the pump that isnt running is the recirculation pump (which heater is connected to) if fuses keep blowing try disconnecting the heater element maybe shorted

Maytag Neptune Model #MDE5500ATW How to tell if the thermal fuse is blown

If this THERMAL fuse is blown it would not operate at all. If it runs but don't heat it probably is a limit or the heater. If you see a lot of junk in the vent pipe AND it still runs then the heater limits are gone. If the vent it clear but filter housing or blower has an issue then it won't run and the thermal fuse is gone bye bye.

Dryer runs but does not dry clothes

Dryers run on two circuits. One runs the motor and the other runs the heat. Check to make sure the fuse isn't blown or the breaker isn't tripped. Usually there is a fuse box behind the dryer with two fuses. One is for motor, one is for heater.

Kenmore cloths dryer no heat --- drum and air but no heat ---think it is therma fuse clean vents

Well it runs so that is not the thermal fuse. I would check the limits on the heater or maybe the heater itselfthemobilian_2271.jpgthemobilian_2272.jpgthemobilian_2273.jpgthemobilian_2274.jpg
If these components check ok and yall still have no heat then the timer may be bad.
or the dedicated house dryer circuit breaker is gone on the heat load side.
The motor works on 120 volts or L-1 and neutral. The 5000 watt 240 heating element needs both sides of the breaker to operate correctly. Heat can be iffy or none at all if this is the case.

My dryer runs and turns but doesnt heat up or dry clothes

It sounds like you may need a GE element part number WE11M23. this is a common problem and can be replaced by taking out the drum and exposing the large circular heating element. the thermostats on the heater housing can usually be re-used. secondly check you house fuses as this can save you alot of grief. it is possible that simply a wire has been burned or your cycling thermostat is gone. I would need a model number in order to give you a part number for this. hope this helps.

Dryer doesn't heat up

Check the following to address this issue.

1. No power to the dryer
Make sure there's power getting to the dryer. Check for tripped circuit breakers or blown fuses. An electric dryer uses two circuit breakers or fuses, and if only one of two is tripped or blown, the dryer might still run but not heat. Sometimes the power cord disconnects or burns at the dryer, if this is the case, the wiring and the terminal block must be repaired or replaced.

2. Heating element
A burned out heating element will show no continuity when measured with a meter. Replace the element if found defective.

3. Thermal fuse
Most dryers have a thermal fuse, which burns out when the dryer overheats, in which case the dryer will either not run at all or stop heating. The fuse is usually located on the vent duct, inside the dryer. A blown fuse will show no continuity when measured with a meter. Before replacing the fuse, make sure the blower wheel is not broken or clogged, and there is nothing blocking the venting.

Blower moter runs on heater constantly

Blower motor should not be keeping your heater from heating up. Something must be going on with your flame. Have you cleaned the heater recently? Is the igniter working? Is your burner ring in good condition? Maybe a sensor has gone bad? Trouble shooting at the rural energy website might be helpful.

Dryer runs but will not dry

It may be a thermostat that has gone, thus preventing the heater from going on. Check your power source as well, maybe you have lost a line.
