You need to sync it with your system. turned of, plug it to your console. Then wait a couple of seconds and turn it on. Once the lights stod blinking and the ligh indicate the number of controller assigned, unplug it.

I have the same problem, all 4 leds of the controller blink for a while then they stop blinking completely and nothing happens when I press on the playstation button?!

It was working properly the day before yesterday. The only thing that I happened is that I tried it on another PS3 console at a friend and it wasn't recognized so I thought it can only work with one console, but it didn't work when I tried it on my console again.

problem solved ... there is a small reset hole at the back of the controller that you need to press with something pointed.

Looks like when I tried the control on another console the synch was wipped out and a reset was needed.

Washer Control Locked blinking and won't washer won't work

Water still in the bottom of the drum. Empty, clean filter and check pump is turning. Once pressure switch is satisfied no water is left it'll allow the door to open, assuming the door interlock is still ok.

Dualshock 3 just blinks with all four lights when i plug it into ps3 slim. reset button does nothing but delay blinking. no way of connecting so i dont know if it is charged or charging

Hello and welcome to Fixya. From what your describing it sounds as if your DualShock3 Controller lost it's bluetooth connection with the PS3. Make sure you plug the controller to the PS3 using the USB to miniUSB cable and hold down the PS button for three seconds to see if this resyncs it. If it does not turn your controller around and you will see a small hole. You will need a paperclip or other small long object and insert it into the hole to reset the controller. Next after pressing the reset button on the controller try the same steps that I provided above again. I can tell you that the four lights blinking slowly means the controller is actively charging. I hope you found this helpful and good luck.

Controller NOT Working Properly

I just came home to find this same problem. Four blinking lights on the wireless controller and the inability to sync the controller with my 360. On a whim I took out my controller's battery and then reinserted it after a few seconds. Voila! Problem solved. Controller works normally again!
