This is the wire for the auxillary switching from the set/ switch. The power amp has to be connected with a larger dia wire for giving in the best current value. The remote switches the amp to trigger a relay and power the amp. In the present models there are terminals or even a blue wire is the remote switch. Hence you require + 've connection to this. Helpful. Good day

I have 2 pioneer 6x9 400w, pioneer GM 6500f 760w amp and a kenwood KFC W1012 sub, how d i get the best sound from these?

pioneer gm 6500 is a 4 ch amp rated at 60w-4 way to small of an amp to run your sub. UNDER-POWERING your sub is more likely to damage spkr than over-powering. my advice, get mono-block to run sub

Hi, you can split the preamp RCAs with Ys available everywhere. The amp input impedance shouldn't cause much load on the head unit. Let us know if you have more questions, and thanks for using FixYa.

Pioneer Amp

It could be as simple as a resistor but that's not likely. To find the problem, you'd have to follow the signal through the amplifier.

Are you sure that you don't have a bad connection in one of the cables or the connectors that go between the head unit/EQ/DAB and the amplifier?

Old pioneer GM120 amp

ok first the large red is battery connection, black large is ground find good source to ground, the 0.75 is most likely the power on for the amp you should hook it up to the power antenna wire on the radio. this will turn on the amp when the radio is turned on. the grey green and black are prob speaker hook ups input. the four wires are speaker outs, the red wire might be power for cd changer test it to see if it puts out power when amp is on.

Pioneer GM-7300M 800 Watt amp will not power on

This may have a different type of triggered turn on wire. On some of the older Pioneer amps (and maybe some new ones) the trigger wire would SUPPLY B+ TO THE RADIO and when the radio was switched on the amp would sense a current draw on that wire and would then switch on. Unlike most common amps which sense the presence of B+ on the trigger wire supplied by the radio and then turn on. Look in your owners manual to see kind of turn on system you have. If you don't have an owners manual then perhaps you can download one from Pioneer support. good luck
