Hi,
You can use the Windows System Restore utility to roll back to a time when it was working correctly. To use system restore, click Start ---> All Programs --> Accessories ---> System Tools --> System Restore.
OR
Uninstall the complete Lexmark driver and software using Revo Uninstaller, create a new User Account (with Administrator priviliges) and install from the CD again. Make sure you have the Lexmark CD on hand as complete contents are unavailable online.
A MINI GUIDE TO USE REVO
Visit the above link in blue and download the free version. Double click to install and then again to run. Wait for it to load all programs installed. Find the Lexmark software and click uninstall; choose the Advanced option. After the uninstaller completes, let it scan all remaining files and then delete if any is found.
Note: Make sure you know what to do if you run into your old Wifi issue. Remember to have all the settings handy. You may need them later.
Thanks so much for your prompt reply to my query. In fact I did try the "roll back" solution - going back to March of this year - but it didn't work. It simply said that no changes had been made to the computer - so maybe I should give your alternative suggestion a whirl.
Thanks again,
Marianne
OK. But remember that you can also try some nearer restore points. This is dependent on whether there are or not. If there are none then you may try the other solution proposed. Thanks.
Hi: I just had to let you know that your uninstall suggestion worked like a charm... Thanks so much.

The solution was extremely helpful. Yet again another FixYa expert has come to my aid in a timely and easily understood fashion.
FixYa is most certainly a programme that is well worth the monthly fee.
Thank you,
Marianne
