Most common cause for driver not returning is a worn or missing blade seal which is a washer with a slot found under lower bumper. Remove head and cylinder. Check that driver is not bent and slides snuggly thru slot in washer. If washer seems ok then check for missing check seal oring found at lower end of cylinder. Clean the holes under check seal. Finally check oring at driver piston. Oring should just hold piston in place without sliding down cylinder. The driver should not be too tight nor too loose. Re-assemble using silicone paste on all orings (small tube of silicone available at Lowes plumbing department, used to lube faucet orings). Good luck and post again if you have other questions.

Part # 097746 valve pin has a rubber surface that seals when under pressure. To replace this part, remove the trigger then two roll pins in the body of the gun just above the trigger valve. Remove the valve and check for debris or faulty part, replacing as needed (verify the the orings on the outer part of trigger valve are not cut, there also should be a spring pushing down on the valve pin ). If the valve pin is worn, also check orings within the gun for wear, including the largest oring around the cylinder seal. Good luck

Paslode framer when you depress trigger there no resistance and it does not fire

Paslode framer has a lever inside of trigger that may be bent or missing. Easy to check. Remove air line and nails. Remove trigger by pulling pin. Check under trigger for missing parts. Test gun by connecting to air and place nose of gun against wood or hard rubber and then depress firing pin. If gun fires then problem is with lever under trigger or safety mechanism which is in two parts. Check safety for bent or broken piece, usually upper part will be missing lip that actually pushes on the lever. If however gun does not fire when firing pin is depressed, time for replacing orings in gun. Parts are available at . Good luck with your repair and post again if you have other questions.

You will have to take it to your nearest paslode repair agent(check for your nearest repairer on the paslode web site). It sound like you have damaged cylinder or comb. chamber. the orange casing is just that a casing to hold the internals together. The gas framing gun is just like your car motor. Fuel(gas cell),spark(spark plug), motor(piston moving up and down a cylider) and filter/air( fan to move air around evenly and filter for tool to breath)

I have a Paslode framing gun. When you connect the air hose, air comes out of the rear of the gun. What would cause this issue?

There is a large diaphram inside the nailer (inside) that is out of place or damaged.

Remove the 4 screws to access the diaphram and inspect it.
