Question about Samsung SCX-4725FN All-In-One Laser Printer
The power needs to be reset every time a new print or fax job is started. This started happening when the toner was very low, but continued after the toner was replaced.
The printer appears to be online at all times, but if you send a print job to it, the job seems to hang in memory 'till the power is cycled off/on. Since I use this for my business this has become a big problem on a daily basis.
There is a main board in the machine that needs to be replased..sorry.nothing else wil help

Tips for a great answer:
1. Browse to
Start -> Run... and type in "NET STOP SPOOLER" (this will stop the
print spooler service)
2. Browse to your
windows\system32\spool\PRINTERS\ folder. You should see files there ending in
.SPL and .SHD created around the time you tried to print - delete these files.
3. Browse to
Start -> Run... and type in "NET START SPOOLER" (this will restart
the print spooler service)
4. Double click
the printer icon in the lower-right corner of your taskbar to examine your
print job queue and browse to View -> Refresh.
Try to print again.
If problem continues, disconnect your printer USB cable from your computer. For Windows OS, go to Control Panel > Printers and Faxes. Delete the Lexmark print object. Reboot pc. Unplug and re-plug the printer into the power source to reset it. When the printer turns on, reconnect the USB cable into your computer. Wait until your computer fully recognizes the USB connection before sending a new print job.
