Question about Samsung Eternity Cell Phone

1 Answer

I have nothing stored in my phone (pictures, videos, etc.) except for what came on it from the factory and my phone memory shows completely full....not allowing me to take pictures or send picture texts or anything. The games and apps folder is taking up most of the memory, but theres nothing there to delete. Help!

Try and get an external memory card and save your other things there.

Depending on your phone and your provider check for an icon called DRIVE. That is for google one drive and it automatically backs up your phone.

How do I reset my laptop to factory settings without losing any of my data and programs,,,,can somebody help me?

You can save your data like ms files, pictures, videos, etc (except the programs to a removable disc, usb flash drive, external hard drive and any other storing devices before doing the complete factory settings reset.

For the programs, you can just reinstall them by using the installation discs.

When I go to send a sms it keeps failing saying memory full shut some applications. there is nothing else runningand I have deleted some games to try to fix but with no luck

There is probably some program running in the background. Shut off the phone, and pull the battery out, and put it back in and try again.

N95 8GB, keeps saying the phone memory is full, I have deleted all text messages, It will not let me delete phone contacts, can not receive texts or missed calls info, any ideas? I have turned it off and...

The memory it's referring to is the Internal Phone memory and not the SD Card which is the 7.4GB you refer to. The internal phone memory is only about 120MB. Go Menu>Tools>File mgr.> you'll see two tabs at the top, Phone and Card. Leave in on the phone tab and go Options>Memory Details. This will show you where the space has gone. As a rule of thumb I always try to install apps/games/music/video/pictures etc to the memory card or mass memory is it calls it. The only exception to this I make is installing themes, as it can throw a bit of a wobbly when you connect to pc in data transfer mode and the phone cuts itself off from the memory card.

Wont switch on

Did you try to reset the phone.

Normal Reset (*#7780#) : Restores ini files from rom but preserves user data (photos, 3rd party apps etc)

Deep Reset (*#7370#) : This reformats completely the C: drive. All applications and files stored on this drive will be lost and clean default files will be rewritten.

Hard reset
Press Call + 3 + * simultaneously during the bootup phase, forces the N95 to do a complete wipe of internal memory.
This will reset the phone back to 100% standard factory configuration.
