Question about MidiLand MLi SW190 Computer Speakers

2 Answers

I have this set of speakers hooked to a Dell 3000 running under Windows XP Pro. I recently had to change offices and when I hooked up the speakers, the subwoofer wouldn't work. I've tried reinstalling the sound drivers, moving the plug into one of the alternate receptacles, checking for loose connections but nothing works. Can somebody help please?

Hi there! Try testing your speakers with an audio device like a discman or iPod and see if there's sound. If there's no sound at all then you need to buy new speakers for your computer but if it does have sounds then try plugging the jack to the green audio port at the back of your tower.

Hope this will help!

Have a nice day! ^_^

Please check the cable using a multimeter. Check if the cable is broken.

Just by shifting the system, I fear if you could have an issue like this. Also check the Subwoofer box if its working or not. Good Luck.

It's a rather large file, but download and create a UBCD4WIN cd. It will have a password recovery tool that you will allow you to do what you want, plus a lot of other stuff:

Dell dimension 3000 won't see wireless network

Hi, I've jst been looking on the web at the Mimo routers, you may find this article interesting, it may help even though its a couple of years old?

http://www.behardware.com/articles/614-2/wi-fi-mimo.html

Pay attention to part about 802.11n compatibility?
Perhaps try changing the IEEE standard on the router to 802.11g in the set up pages, as it may be set at 802.11n, which your older wireless card will not see.

As to the acquiring ip address message, try using a static ip address, here's a good guide:-

Maybe this will help?
