Open the case up and look at the model number printed on the motherboard. When you find the model number look it up on Foxconn's website and find the form factor and CPU socket. Once you have that information, go to newegg.com, tigerdirect.com, or your computer hardware store of choice and find a model that matches or exceeds the specifications of your previous model. It doesn't really matter what brand you get, just as long as they are the same form factor (it has to fit in your case) and CPU socket.

If you have any other questions, just ask me

Need help finding part for Evesham desktop that want connect to my tv. i have found my motherboard model which is foxconn-945g7ma, however when i search for it on the internet i find two types Foxconn

You would only be able to connect that to your TV if your TV has a VGA connector, (also called D-Sub.)

There is NO HDMI or DVI connector on any 'flavor' of that model Motherboard.

Dell inspiron 530 mobo problem

Yes - both MOBO are same form factor.
You will need to remove the backplate (that is the part that surrounds the ports) from the case.
You will need to insert the backplate for the new MOBO in the case.

The CPU and RAM should be direct swap.

ONN N15235 motherboard, which is a 775 socket. I am currently running a Pentium E2160 on its but its pretty slow so I bought an E5400 to replace it. When I changed the CPU over and started up my computer...

The LGA 775 processor socket doesn't matter, calderwooddu.

It's up to the motherboard chipset, and the BIOS program, and version, of what that Foxconn N15235 will support. I would go back to the Pentium Dual Core E2160, use CPU-Z from CPUID.com, (Free), and see what the motherboard chipset is, first.

(Motherboard chipset: The Northbridge, and Southbridge chips. Chip is slang for I.C. Integrated Circuit)

The Northbridge chip is what determines what Processors are supported.

1) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Motherboard_diagram.svg

2) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Northbridge_%28computing%29

Since the E2160 is built upon the 65nm technology, and the E5400 is built upon the 45nm technology, the Northbridge chip of the Foxconn N15235 may not support the E5400.

With the technology change are also Instruction Set changes. Plus other parameter changes. The BIOS program, and version on the Foxconn N15235 may not support these, either. Sorry to be a bummer.

Not a solution per se, Yet.

Need to know what computer this Foxconn mobo is out of. (MOtherBOard)
OR, if you get the computer operational again, let's use CPU-Z to see what the motherboard chipset is.
Need help in downloading, and/or installing CPU-Z, post in a Comment.

What is the Max. RAM that can be installed on the Foxconn Springdale Socket 775 LGA motherboard ?

Need more info. What is the motherboard model # ? Such as:
945G7MA-S or something like that. If you can't find the model #, download System Information for Windows (SIW). Get the SIW Without Installer (English-Only) version :
http://www.gtopala.com/siw-download.html

Once SIW is running, click "motherboard" in the left margin to see the MOBO model #.

I have a Foxconn LS-36 Revision A01 Motherboard. The Model number is: CN-OGC375-13740-5AG-00CU. (The first O might be a 0). At any rate this MB is on a Dell XPS 600 unit, which has died and I have a Raid 0...

Dell has proprietary motherboards, so most retail mobos out in the market would either not fit into the chassis. if the system is still in warranty. call in for a replacement mobo. otherwise try reaching their out-of-warranty dept/ spare parts dept.

Everything freezes constantly after about 5 minutes or more no matter what is running or not. Have to hard boot.

Try this...reboot the computer and as it starts to come back up, press the F8 key at the top of your keyboard to enter Safe Mode without networking.

See if the computer will stay on longer than 5 minutes.

Run you anti-virus program in safe mode and see if there is any malware on your machine.

That's a start. Let me know waht you find and we'll work on it more.

Dead mobo e-machine T2824

Hello leeinsc,

The T2824 uses a microATX motherboard, any manufacturer supporting a Celeron (Intel) CPU will be ok - therefore, I would think any motherboard of that size will fit the case. There seems to have been a lot of problems with this model and the mobos. Putting $280+ into an exact replacement wouldn't appeal to me. Especially when $60-80 will get the job done!
You will want to make sure that the rear plate on the case is of standard size to fit the new mobo however.
To cross-reference the current mobo, there should be some stamped markings on the board. Usually they are located (either) around the edge, or near the middle. Cross that using Google - you should easily find a replacement.

Regards,
ChancesR
