How to change incoming call display for Panasonic KX-T7633?...

How do I change the incoming call display for each designated line?... We have 3 lines, that when rang will display "198: Appointments", "199: Prescriptions", etc. These need to be changed, as they are incorrect. ( I am not referring to the caller ID feature) Thank you.

Thank you, but this sounds foreign to me, as I am not in possession of a manual. Can you please give me step by step directions, if possible. Thank you.

ICD groups are named in the ICD group settings. You can rename them from any tab in the 3.5.1 table.

No. It is a programming function and not within the scope of the free forum. Your best option is to call a Panasonic dealer or someone with access to your system. It can't be done from a phone.

    "Upon further review" :-)

I wouldn't wish this on a novice, but there is a solution to your problem. http://www.public.carl.airpost.net/Pana/...

READ THE ENTIRE MANUAL. Now look at page 33. Command 622 and 623 give you the extension numbers and names for the ICD Groups. They are probably numbered 001, 002, 003 and 004.

We usually put the main ringing in 001 and go from there.

    READ THE ENTIRE MANUAL.

Your mission is to find the program that has access to programming. It's usually extension 101, but it has to be enabled at installation. You're going to like my CALL YOUR DEALER solution better, but you're welcome to try.

If you, somehow, manage to do something bad to your system, be aware that it will cost you more than if you just called your dealer in the first place.

On the Panasonic KX-T7633, how can you answer a call on extension 101 that is actually ringing/incoming on extension 103?

A couple of ways, the easiest is to dial *41103 on the intercom. *40 may also work, but it picks up any ringing outside line.

LINE NOT ASSIGNED

Since, by default, you have either 4 or 8 lines minimum, do they appear on other phones and is there anything on the buttons? Press PROG and line 3 button. If the display shows CO 003, you have another problem. If they show blank, dial 0 3 and press ENTER. Do the same for line 4 (using 4, of course).

Voice mail notification to cell phone

This is a phone system phone. What you are looking for would be a feature of your voice mail that is connected to the phone system. "Handsfree Speakerphone- 3-Line Back Lit display and 24-Line Keys. Compatible with KXTDA200 and KXTDA100 Systems. " Sounds like you either have a KX-TDA200 or KX-TDA100 phone system. Usually voice mail is an optional feature and has a separate part number. You could also have voice mail service through your phone service provider (like Verizon) Do you have any user guides for your voice mail or one for your phone that covers voice mail features? If not, the first step is to find out for sure what you have for a voice mail. If you have a working message waiting light on the phone it would be an in-house voice mail connected to the system.
