You need to disassemble the door and reassemble with the inner glass well in place, no need for a new door.
If the glass is damaged, call manufacturer and replace glass.
If some other part on the frame has bent, replace the faulty part.
The whole door is expensive.

To replace or refit the door glass you can do the following:

0 Check if there is a hinge stop bracket located at the hinge point of entry on the oven, in that case remove it.
1 remove the oven door by pulling it up and removing from the the hinges. If glass is broken , then secure glass with tape. Have a table with a cloth on top ready to lay the door.
2 Remove the outer screws , starting from lower side of the panel.
3Removethe inner screws. Keep all set of screws ordered, and take note of theorder you remove them. You will follow reverse order in reassembly.
4 the frame will be free now,
5 Remove the external glass panel and leave it in a safe place.
6 Replace the inner glass.
7 Clean outer glass and metal door, re-assemble it and mount it back

Hello & Welcome to FixYa

The heating issue can be caused by the oven temp sensor that is bad and needs replacement. If you wan to be sure before replacing the sensor then you can test it with a voltmeter for around 1100ohms....if it reads more then this then it needs replacement. You can view this video for glass replacement:

I am replacing the inner glass on my Kenmore oven and would like instructions on how to dismantle the door, properly replace the glass and seal and then reassemble the door. Thanks in advance.

Should be relatively easy. Remove the door first. Should a door release tab that flips up on each door hinge. Engage the tabs push the door toward the close position and the tabs will grab. Lift the door up and off. From there remove screws holding the inner and outer door shell together. Screws should be on top and bottom of door. Then locate the screws you need to remove to replace your glass. Be careful not to break it!!!

Electrolux GLES388DSA stove: how do i clean the inner door window ?

Usually the range windows are sealed in so such things won't enter in between the glass. If you're lucky however, there may be screws or bolts on the sides of the door you can see while it's open, and you should be able to take the entire door off by most likely opening it half-way and pulling upward. If there are no screws however, the rubber seals that surround the windows might be able to be taken off if you're brave enough to try. Be warned at that idea though, because if it is sealed, then getting it re-sealed properly is a tough task at home or office.
