Hi Crystal,

If you are trying to install an application from the disk, you need to navigate to the setup file.

Under the Start button on the button left, click and select "My Computer". Then select "C:"

The screen shall display a number of files.
If you are looking to install the file, look for a file named "Setup"

You will prompted to input a product key which should have come with the product.

If you are attempting just to use an application there shall be a file with a name and a suffix of .exe.
For example, excel.exe

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

How do I load photo disk to my pc?

If you mean photos stored on a 31/2 inch floppy disk and your laptop does not have a 31/2 inch floppy drive, then borrow a cpmputer that has a 31/2 inch floppy drive, copy the photos from these disks to an USB memory stick so you can then copy them to your computer.
OR
You maybe able to get your friend or computer shop to fransfer photos from your disks to a USB memory stick or burn then to a CD or DVD disc and you can then copy them to your computer.

What is the metric equivalent of 31/2"

One inch is exactly 0.0254 meters, so 31/2 inches is 15.5 inches which is 0.3937 meters. If you mean 3-and-a-half inches, that's 0.0889 meters.

Extracting old files from computer discs.

I am not sure if I understand, but in the second statement you said that you have another large computer with large and small disc drives. Can you still open up the 5.25 inch foppy discs, and save it to that computer, and later extract it off using 3 inch floppy?

Floppy disc

Take the floppy disk with the writing on the top side and insert it into your floppy drive (typically it will be your A: / drive).....This will work if it’s a USB or an internal floppy drive.....I hope this helps

>If yes when you put a floppy in does the light flash or can you hear any sound from the floppy drive
> if yes try a different floppy

UPDATING BIOS FOR ASROCK M266 A MAINBOARD

In order to update your Bios, you need to have a bootable diskette.
First make sure your 1st boot sequence is Floppy Disc. Place a bootable floppy, if you don't have one just do it by using unused floppy. Right click on 31/2 Floppy (A:), choose Format, then tick the box "Create an MS-DOS Startup Disk". Once finished use this disk to boot your system. After the system completed the boot process, replace your boot disk with your upgrade disk. Type the require command to update your bios.
Good Luck
