Question about Vacuums
It has a built-in temperature sensor which prevents it to be damaged from overheating. That's why it shuts down. It just needs to be opened up and cleaned thoroughly. Start with the hose if it has one and let someone who is handy with electric appliances to open it's casing and clean the insides.
