Phone not registering as attached device on router setup??

    MFurrer.
From the computer on-screen user menu. Under the option Groups. There is no group listed. However under the "Set Management" all 4 items of equipment are listed (G11 gateway + 3 extensions - as per previous installation)

I want the phone to operate Voip calls, AND analogue calls. In my previous setup the G11PSTN gateway did just that - it integrated VOIP and landline calls both could be made from the 46120 unit, press 8 for a voip call, 9 for a landline call.

Are you trying to get this to work with a SIP trunk or work with the analog gateway?

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
New users get to try the service completely Free afterwhich it costs $6 per call and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

Sort of. You can set the .txtx file for the items that are currently in it. BUT, once the phone gets the file, all you need to do is put the extension number in, thne the personal info is grabbed from the callsrv IP, and the user information is automatically inserted,

DIR-655 does not allow Avaya VOIP phone to work

You need to check the DHCP configuration on your router. Also try setting up a static IP on your VOIP phone & try.

How to configure Avaya's IP Phone 5610?

What IP did you give the phone? When it says discover, its looking for the call server, which it is not finding.

Which system is this on? If IP office, you may need to build an IP route in the system for that subnet.

E1 or T1 to pabx to router to softphone

Yes, configure second Cisco E1 port to simulate you telcom (network side) and connect it to PB, and first Cisco E1 to your telecom provider.

On Cisco router configure voice ports, and number manupilation, so you can catch any call and redirect it anywhere (Voip, Telco, PBX).

I tryed that with Ericcson, and it didn't work until connections where like these
telco <-> Cisco VoIP gateway (E1x2) <-> PBX

PBX's are not very flexible, Cisco is.
