    You need to enter settings for your carrier's data profile. What service provider do you use with your phone? Each one has different settings, then I can tell you how to enter them into the phone.

With your service do you have an internet plan? Data package is basically your internet plan that you pay to your carrier, if you are not paying your carrier to have internet on your phone you wont be able to use the internet on your phone.

How to subscribe to packet data for 6700 classic

Hi, in order to use Internet on your Nokia 6700 Classic Cellphone you need to subscribe for GPRS (General Packet Radio Service). It can be done by contacting the Service Provider of the Network Carrier. Please contact the Customer Care of the network carrier (not Nokia Customer Care) to activate GPRS so that you can surf the Internet on your Cellphone. var geo_Partner = '843689b9-ba30-459d-9c4b-876924715b22'; var geo_isCG = true;

My nokia mobile phone 2760, it is showing E symbo in the top. When i make a call this "E" symbol stricked out with back slash. Why?

Hi, the E symbol is nothing but EDGE which is used to connect for Internet. It means you have enabled the EDGE or GPRS connection Always Online option on your Cellphone.

Here's how to disable it: Please open Menu>Settings>Connectivity>Packet Data>Packet Data Connection>When Needed.

This will make connection to EDGE or GPRS only when you use Internet on your Cellphone.

When you make a Call the E symbol is strike out because the call connection will disconnect the Internet Connection.

I have nokia 5300, gprs enabled, but while i m instaling ngpay it gives error ''subscribe packet data first

The term 'Packet Data' means the avenue cell phones receive information from the internet. In order to receive packet data you must have a Data plan added to your cellular account with your service provider.

To have a data plan added to your account contact your cellular company and ask what Data plans they offer. After a Data plan has been entered into their computer system for your account, you can then properly install your application.
