Question about Sony PlayStation 2 Slimline Console
If you bought it new then the best thing that I would recommend would be to contact Sony and have them fix the problem. Since it is not even six months old they should be able to fix it for free. This statement is directly from Sony's website for product information. I have also attached the link that has all the contact information. Sony Computer Entertainment America ("SCEA") warrants to the original purchaser that the PS3™ hardware shall be free from material defects in material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the original date of purchase (the "Warranty Period"). http://us.playstation.com/support/warranties/ps3/index.htm
