As long as the connections fit, or you can make the fit appropriately without the poles touching, it will work. All a bass knob is is a potentiometer ( analog dial). so they should all work with each other as long as you can make the final connection between the knob's plug and the amp.

Is the bass boost the gain or frequency knob?

Bass boost simply adds DB or gain to the bass signal. Some like it, some dont.
The frequency knob is the Low Pass Filter (LPF) that cuts off the amp output above
the set frequency. A bass system usually cuts off below 400 HZ and more often 200HZ.
A good, rattle your car bass note is in the 25-80HZ range or lower but most amps and audio
input devices cant attain a good low note with clarity.
"Low-pass filter allows only frequencies below the crossover point to be amplified. A high-pass filter allows only frequencies above the crossover point to be amplified - useful for keeping low bass away from small speakers, so they can play more efficiently."

Amp pops randomly and gets worse with my remote bass knob hooked up any ideas ?

When you say that the amp "pops" are you referring to the sound that is coming out of the speakers?
This is most likely the speakers "bottoming out", i.e. moving as much as they can, and then slapping against the back of the speaker frame. Adding the remote bass knob (presumably increasing the signal to the amplifier) would make the problem a bit worse, which explains why the popping increases after you add the bass knob.

You can try decreasing the gain on your amplifier and running the system at a moderate volume. If there's no popping occurring, you can be reasonably sure that the subs/speakers are just being over-driven.

My Lanzar Optidrive plus has a green light and a red light. I assume this is a sign of safe mode. normally it is just green. How can i get it back to normal and in working order. I already tested other...

your output of the amplifier have been distorted. I suggest you take this to a reputable service technician that has experience with lanzar OptiDrive old school Rockford Fosgate or Orion. These technicians are hard to come by nowadays but they definitely are worth the money that they charge. I happen to be one of those such technicians.

Here are a few amps at Crutchfield.com you can look at. Notice that the closer to a class D you get, the price more than doubles. I have 2 Kenwood 12's that are 800W Rms, and I have a cheap SPL 1500W amp pushing them. 148.5 Db in a 93 Eclipse, so don't worry too much about the class unless you have money to burn. Let me know if this helps :)

Quick question, amp problem

make sure you ground wires arent shared, meaning run each ground wire from each amp to its own grounding point

Bass control stopped working

on rockford amps, the bass control knob needs to be connected to get the maximum output (+18 db gain i believe). If you did this to the power wires, then yes, you may have at least damaged the bass control knob. Try replacing this to see if you get all of your gain back. If not, then you have damaged something inside the amp...maybe a capacitor or power supply inside. If that's the case, you'll need to get the amp looked at by an electronics repair technician or local stereo shop.
