Question about Motorola Mobility SLVR L7 Cellular Phone

1 Answer

I bought a SLVR L7 on line (mistake) and it will not accept my SIM card that I know works fine. It says "insert SIM". If I push "open menu and select" button, it reads "for emergency use only".

The only reason for this command is a bad SIM card or the phone is not functioning correctly. I would contact the seller and try to exchange or get your money back.
You may contact your cellular provider and see if the phone has some setting that is wrong also.

Insert sim

Remove the SIM and clean it with soft cloth.
Try the SIM on any other Mobile phone.
You can also try another SIM card on this mobile to make sure the phone is working properly.
If another SIM card is working properly that means the SIM card you are currently using may be corrupt. Its easy to replace a SIM then replacing a phone.
Clean both SIM and phone Connectors then try to insert the SIM.

Thank you for using Fixya.

I would like an unlocking code for my samsung g600

There are 2 possible solutions for this - BOTH i have personally done
---------------------------------------------------
OPTION 1
Type this code at the locked screen
#*7337#

However this may ZERO OUT the phones IMEI causing ALOT of future problems - & resulting in many more headaches - however i have also seen this work like a charm

----------------------------------------------------
OPTION 2

1-Turn on the phone without sim card .
2-Pull off the battery cover and insert any non-accepted sim card (without turning off the handset)
3-Do full reset *2767*3855# , phone will reboot and goes to Menu .
4-Customize Sp-lock code *7465625*638*00000000*00000000#
5-Unlock your phone with new SP code #7465625*638*00000000#
6- Phone is unlocked and there should be NO IMEI damage

However NEITHER RESULT is guaranteed ...

Memory Card-Motorola L7

Well that phone holds up to a 1gb memory card but I would suggest getting a 512mb cause if you full the 1gb it will freeze your phone and it would of no use to you anymore.

Motorola l6 phone, on orange, keeps displaying the ''insert sim' error.

i was having the same problem, when u place the sims card in the slot, make sure the little metal clip is slid up over the sims card to insure connection. I didnt realize at the time i was suppose to slid the that clip over the edge of the card. As soon as i did this it worked fine.
