Make sure that your SIM gets a good coverage i mean
the SIm which your are using should have a nearby TOWER..

IF there is no tower near to your area then no range wil be there for your mobile and you cant call anybody at any situations.....

So try to get a SIM were thers is tower that suits your SIM..

What do i do when my mobile phone says 'mobile network unavailable?

The ideal solution temporarily is to find a spot with wifi.
The "network is probably not your phone's problem. Its either the network having problems or your location.
The problem is that u cant get a proper network at that place. In your phone, come to the home screen, where wallpaper & other options are displayed. There'll be two indicators, one of your battery, & the other, of the same style & behaviour, the network indicator. That tells you about your signal strength.
First, restart your phone, it'll refresh the network. If there's still a problem, then it means that u cant get a proper connection to that network. Then what u should do is- If you're in a crouded area, or in a room, go out in the open. Or if you're in a village, then you cant find signal there easily. But rather travelling for good network, you should use someone else's phone which can get signal or a landline. Or if you want signal, you'll have to travel to some distance, or maybe even a long distance. That's all which can be done.

Hi there, If you don't have signal or If you are trying to use a SIM card in your phone and getting a message like "Enter Subsidy Code", "Incorrect SIM Card", "SIM not provisioned" or similar messages, then you need an unlock code for your mobile phone. You can get Samsung GT-E1080T Unlock Code from the network provider, they will provide you an accurate code with easy to follow instructions on how to unlock your phone. You may check Samsung Unlock Code site, they can open up all networks for you where you want to use your phone. I have a message on my orange mobile phone which says No Network Coverage what does this mean E Brown

This means that where you currently are, your phone cannot reach a network. In certain places, the signals the mobile phone companies use to connect to your phone are too weak. When this happens, your phone will display this message. So if people try to call you or send a message, they won't get through to you and vice-versa. You can try to change this by changing where you are, or if this is not convenient due to the fact that you get no signal at home or work, try changing to a different network. Bear in mind also, that phone networks occasionally fail for short periods of time while maintenance is being carried out. So it could be remedied simply by waiting a day or two. Hope to have helped.

My Samsung SGH-D900I mobile phone comes up with 'Limited Service' at bottom of screen and I am unable to use it. At the same time the signal strength indicator fluctuates from 2bars to 5bars when phone is...

When you get a 'Limited Service' it usually indicates a problem with your SIM (check with Mobile Supplier) that is not fully acceptable to the network you are trying to use (is it a new SIM that needs activation? is your handset 'network locked'?).
You also get this message if you are in an area not fully serviced by your SIM mobile service provider.
Hope the information is useful: let me know how you go and good luck!

Third party WLANS is disrupting signal on my mobile phone

You have a neighbour, near the "back" of your house, with a wireless network (or wireless telephone) that is interfering with your wireless network.

Take the telephone "base" unit to the back of your house, and plug it in. It will sense your neighbour's network, and choose a different "channel" that does not conflict with your wireless telephones.

Or, take your laptop to your backyard, and walk about, and watch the "signal strength" go up and down, in order to identify which neighbour is operating the competing network. Turn your back to each neighbour, in turn, while holding your laptop, to see if putting your body "between" his network and your laptop _decreases_ the signal-strength. Turn and face each neighbour, and the signal-strength should _increase_. Liaise with the neighbour, to see if they can change "channels".

Letter h

i have that one too.. yes, it stands for High-Speed Downlink Packet Access (HSDPA) for a 3G mobiles. i had network problems/signal issues weeks ago when i used that setting, so i changed my phone setting from 3G to GSM. [uhm..i don't think you can find that in the user guide either, hehe. you have to browse and make yourself familiar w/ your phone=) ] with that i don't think i can make video calls, but who cares.. my signal issues were resolved. now, whenever i switch back to 3g, i can still see my signal bar on the upper left fluctuates.. sigh ;c

anyways, you can make that "H" disappear by going to:
settings=
connectivity=
mobile networks=
gsm/3g networks=
then choose GSM only.
