Question about Watches

1 Answer

I have a digital watch that looks like a mini cell phone. Bought from Target, can't find instructions to set the time. Check link http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=320541252339&_trkparms=tab%3DWatching to see picture.

Hi,
Since its not clearly mentioned as to the type of your digital watch cellphone, please try the general instruction of setting a digital watch….
Using the "Mode" Button 1. Pressing the "Mode" button will allow you to access all the settings pages on your digital watch. Press the "Mode" button repeatedly to access the "Daily Alarm," Day Alarm," "Time Zone" and "Chronograph" modes on your watch.
Using the "Start/Stop" and "Split/Reset" Buttons 2. Use the "Start/Stop" button to increase increments when setting the time or alarms on your digital watch. Use "Split/Reset" button to decrease increments when setting the time or alarms on your digital watch.
Setting the Time and Date 3. To set the time and date on your digital watch, press the "Adjust" button twice to access the "Time and Date" display. Press and hold the "Adjust" button to until the "Time" digits begin to flash. Use the "Start/Stop" and "Split/Reset" buttons to set your digital watch to the correct hour and minute increments.

Press "Mode" to display the "Date" setting screen. Use the "Stop/Start" and "Split/Reset" buttons to set the correct day and month. Press the "Adjust" button to save your "Time and Date" settings.

Setting a Daily Alarm 4. To set a repeating alarm on your digital watch, press the "Mode" button until the "AL" screen is displayed. Press and hold the "Adjust" button until the "Time" digits begin to flash. Use the "Start/Stop" and "Split/Reset" buttons to set the correct time for your daily alarm. When you're finished, press the "Adjust" button. This alarm will repeat every 24 hours unless you choose to deactivate it. When the alarm sounds, you can silence it by pressing any button.
Setting a One-Time Alarm 5. To set a one-time alarm on your digital watch, press the "Mode" button until the "DA" screen is displayed. Press and hold the "Adjust" button until the time digits begin flashing. Use the "Start/Stop" and "Split/Reset" buttons to set your alarm. Press the "Adjust" button to save your one-time alarm. Press any button on the digital watch to silence the alarm.
Using the Chronograph Feature 6. To use the Chronograph feature on your digital watch, begin by pressing the "Mode" button until the "SP" screen is displayed. Press the "Split/Reset" button and select either the "Split" or "Lap" option, then press the "Start/Stop" button to start. To record your split or lap time, press the "Split/Reset" button. To display your running time, press the "Split/Reset" button. When you are ready to reset the chronograph, press the "Start/Stop" button, followed by the "Split/Reset" button.

Sorry, those instructions aren't really helpful. The two buttons on the side don't seem to do anything when pressed individually and simultaneously. The smaller button needs something sharp to press and hold it in, and doing that only seems to switch between showing a date and time, but doesn't seem to allow me to alter these in any way. There is no specific brand name. The back of the watch indicates it is made in China, has a Target symbol and gives some numbers. Trying Target and the numbers in google brought up nothing and looking at various Target pages also brought up no results. Did you look at the ebay link, that is the only place I have found anything like it.

Do you have the manual? how do you set the time?

I could not find your model on their web site, so if you go to http://www.vestalwatch.com/#/Store/Watches? and look through their list, you may be able to find it.

Click on the picture and on the next page they have a link to "instruction manual" which should give you all the information you need.

I have a Timex I bought in 2007 on the back of the watch it says CR 2016 cell and WR 100m. The time started to catch on a certain time and stopped the date from working properly, I need to know how to...

Hi,

You should probably replace the battery using a new CR2016 battery. Let the watch set a while without the battery to help it reset. WR 100m just means the watch is "Water Resistant to 100 Meters". Then use the following info.

Timex has two ways to find information about your particular watch. Some of these models only have a guide consisting of a few pages. If you don't have the manual, Try this link:

Complete Timex link site:
http://www.timex.com/info/Product_Instruction_Guides_Downloads

Now, look up the model number, or if you cannot find that, check the three-digit Module Number from the back of the watch. Click on it in the Module Table, and download a PDF of your watch setting-instructions/manual.

If you need further help, call Timex in Little Rock, Arkansas, phone 1-800-448-4639.

I hope this helps you. Thanks, Bill

How to set up ladies roxy digital watch

I found users instructions on roxy website at:
http://www.roxy.com/search/index.jsp?f=Taxonomy%2FROXY%2F2818169&categoryId=2818071&f=Taxonomy%2FROXY%2F2818071&fbc=1&fbn=Taxonomy|Watches&fbx=0

We were able to program our watch completely!!!

If you look on the back of the watch that you bought on the metal plate, it tells you the style. Ours was the Roxy 70's digital watch, and I found specific instructions at (even if this is not your style, the instructions may work):

Need instructions for resizing a Link Tag/Heuer Watch bracelet

Hello! I just went through the same thing. If you got the watch new, you can look in the box to find "mini" or "half" links included with the watch. There is no fine adjustment on the Link, but you can replace the larger links with the "mini" links to get the size closer. They are not quite half size, more like 65% of a regular link. So if you add one "mini" link and the watch is too big, you can then replace a regular link with a "mini" link to keep adjusting the size. I went to a dealer (Jared does this, as does Torneau...you talked to the wrong person) and it took about 5 minutes and was $15.
Hope this helps.
