I just purchase a used freezer Kenmore Model # 13233 23.1 cu. ft. Was said to be working working up until we purchased. When we plugged it in it started and then appeared to shut off. I moved it a little and it started again and everthing thing got cold and apears to be freezing but it didn't seem to stop running. I bumped it and it shut off and I'm not sure if it's going to start again.
If when you bump it to enable it to run, it indicates a loose connection in the wiring. Most common areas are firstly in the plug. Inspect properly by twisting that area if the freezer is on or off. Either way it will do something. Trace wire carefully up to entry of fridge. Pull and push carefully there and see what happens after that. (Do not electricute yourself .carefully).Cant be to many areas after that.
