I have an Epson DX6000 all in one inkjet printer. My daughter spilt some small beads in the paper feed and now the paper jams every time I try to print. I've removed all the beads I can find and have given the unit a shake upside down to try and get the rest out. I am sure there is at least one bead jamming the paper inside. Can you tell me how to open up my printer to let me remove the beads still stuck inside the paper feed unit?
There may be still some beads jammed very deep inside the paper feed just under the feed rollers in the front of paperfeed mechanism. these can only be removed by removing the scanner unit, the upper casing and then the paperfeed mechanism itself. Or alternatively by manualy feeding a bit of thick cardboard through the paper feed to try to push the beads out. It would have to be cardboard like that of the box your printer came in.
Shake the printer and turn it upside down.....Be carefull in doing so...

I've got the same problem, and no amount of shaking is working!
