Question about Kenmore Dryers
I have an electric Kenmore Elite king size 9 cycle dryer with Total care system with the even heat system. The dryer was making a high pitched sound. Then it stopped working. I unplugged it and waited and then plugged it in again. When it came back up the PF light was on and I pushed a few buttons and it started working again. Then a few weeks later it happened again. However, this time, there was no loud pitched noise. Now it is not working. Is there something that I can do to fix it myself?
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

SOURCE: kenmore agitates doenst spin
There are 3 things that may be wrong.
The timer is keeping the transmission in neutral drain.
The clutch is slipping.
The basket drive block that supports the basket has failed.
Aimiel is correct that you will need to see what is happening during the spin to diagnose the problem. Please post the complete model number from the top under the lid and I will try to walk you through checking it.

do you mean you changed out the dryer and the same thing is happening?if so it's not the dryer, either your vent line is clogged with lint and the dryer is cutting out from over heating and coming back on when it cools down or you have an electrical problem because there is no way your gonna have that same problem on two dryers, try running it with the vent line removed from the back of the dryer let me know about this

PF - Power Failure - PF error code indicates a power failure during the dryer's cycle. Press and HOLD start to continue the cycle, or press off/pause to clear display.

Check to see if the door switch is working. When you push and release it, it should click. If not, it will need to be replaced.
If the switch is good, then the only other component that would cause that problem is the thermal fuse. If you could post your model number I could direct you to the part you need.
