    For most front loaders: Plug
off the mains. You have to look for screws below the front kick-panel, the
panel comes down & out. The pump is on the right side. Be prepared for
dirty water so keep a large plastic bag ready. There is a drain hose here, disconnect & drain out. There could be a lot of water. Inside the big
flexible tube (coming from the tub bottom) is the filter, be prepared to find
all sorts of junk here, clean out. Examine your pump also, clean out the
impeller. Carefully refit all. Your machine would be fine. Don’t wait for the
machine to jam to look into your filter.

    For
some front loader models after removing the panel, bottom front, the filter is in the
compartment having the white screw able lid.
The big hose from the bottom of your tub leads to this compartment.

I have samsung wa5451an top loader and it wont drain. where is the drainage pump filter?

A lot of top loaders don't have drain filters but those that do, are normally at the back of the machine down the bottom. If it wont pump out, probably something is stuck in the pump. Take the back panel off and have a look . You may have to pull the hoses off and take the pump out to clean it. look for lint buildup or a foreign object stopping the pump impellor from turning.

My samsung front loader washer wont drain. I can't find the drain hole. Is it in the drum?

there should be a kick plate at the bottom of the front panel if not some of the new models you have to remove the front panel to get to it this is probably the case with your machine alternativley you can follow the drain hose back to the pump lean the machine back and look underneath.

I have tried everything, but my front loader (Samsung J845) door won't open. I can't get a repair person until Monday and the clothes trapped in there are rotting. Have only had machine for two years and...

Remove the plug and see if the program can be activated. If not try to reset the program, if there is a failure to shut off the door lock it is possible that the program controller has failed.
If so you will need to first of all drain off the water in the tub by removing the drain hose. Please make sure that the washer is kept out to drain or there could be flooding inyour room. Once the water has drained use a long head screw driver to manually release the lock of the door.
You might have to use agood light to see the latch to release the lock.

Samsung J845 front loader washing machine. Error

Hi
An OE error presents if the washing machine has not successfully drained the water in ten minutes.
there are a few simple steps to take before calling for service.
Step 1: Check the drain pump filter.
Items caught in the drain filter will prevent proper drainage. Over time build up can occur from detergents and additives used in the machine. Manually drain unit through the drain hose, then lay a towel down to catch the water, and remove the filter. Clean the filter thoroughly and restart the machine.

Step 2: Check the washers drain hose.
If the drain hose is not installed properly, the washer will not drain properly. The drain hose should not be installed more than 1 meter higher than the bottom of the washing machine.

Step 3: Confirm that the washer is leveled properly.
If the unit is not leveled properly, it will not drain properly. The front of the unit cannot be higher than the back or vice versa. If not properly leveled, the water can flow back into the machine. If this is the cause of the problem, please level the machine using the supplied leveling wrench. When you place a level on the washing machine, the bubble should be in the center. Confrim that the washer is leveled from side to side and front to back.
you can perform a diagonal test when leveling the washing machine to ensure that the unit does not tilt from corner to corner.

Our samsung j845 front load washing machine won't

You have a blockage in the drain pump or sump on the machine, it could be anything from a coin, bra wire or an elastic band, best thing to do is switch off the electricity and incoming water, remove as much water from the machine as possible, pull machine out place a suitable container below the drain filter and then open up the filter (if fitted) once cleaned check hoses and drain pump internally for blockages.
