Question about Philips 50PL9126D/37B 50" DLP TV
I took the TV apart to try to change the light bulb in it because it went out. When i got everything apart and got the light bulb installed i put everything back together and the TV started to make a ticking noise i don't have the back piece back on yet because i wanted to see if i installed the light bulb in correctly but now all I'm getting is this ticking noise coming from the center on the TV. What do i do to get it to stop ticking and come back on?
Try putting on the back piece. Some of these TVs have a circuit protection system that will not deactivate with the back open. (It is like an old circuit breaker with the fuse out.)
I hope this helps.
