Leaking Our Magnifica leaks water out of the back (right hand side if facing the machine)... I noticed from a few forum sites that this is a common problem. The leak doesn't gush out, but is sort of seeps out of the back of the machine.

i have the EXACT same problem, however my machine is relativly new. so i dont think its the multiple red oring problem one person lists (not on mine anyway). mine failed after a good cleaning. and i think i assembled the plug with spring and 1 thick red o-ring mechanism. perhaps u simply need just that 1 thick red o-ring replaced. pull out the water tank and look at the back, bottom. see that protrusion? push it in with ur finger, now notice in the machine where that part would sit if u installed the water tank. theres another protrusion that pushes the plug in when the tank is completly installed. anyway tinker around with that, mabe its an easy fix ull figure out. i know my problem has to do with that, i just cant figure out the exact problem. but for $22- i can buy a new tank and whalah. the url for the $22- tank is delonghi-accessories.com/indexphp" good luck :)

Hi, to fix you have to change the special red o'rings (light temperature silicone o'rings) in the heater block. But if you try to search this, seals will be impossible. So you have like me change all the heating block. Because the rust in my magnifica destroyed the metal support. Costs approx $49.

Take care

My machine leaks

Your O rings may need replacing. Remove the back and side panels from your machine with a Phillips screwdriver. Look for signs of leaking near the hose connectors. Remove the leaking connectors by expanding the wire clamp with needle nose pliers. Home Depot has a good O ring selection.

Why is water leaking out from the side tank

It is also smoking from the top of the warming plate and get's very hot. The water seems to be leaking from the top down to the side of the water tank.
Is it worth fixing? How much would I have to spend to have it fixed? Maybe I should just by a new one. My machine is only 4 year.

Washer seems to be leaking during spin cycle.

If the water is gushing from the washer, check the small plastic air dome hose on the lower right hand side of the wash tub. Sometimes the hose can come loose and come off. This will cause the water to begin pouring out of the bottom of the the washer when it begins to fill. The following link has some other things you may consider as well:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r3576648-washer_leak__top_loader

The link explains how to remove the exterior washer case in order to accurately inspect the washer interior components for the source of your leak.
Another common source of leaks with Whirlpool manufactured top loaders is a leaking drain pump. These pumps are not serviceable and if damged, must be replaced. The following link explains how:

Don't forget to check all drain hose connections under the washer and the center tub seal.

Replacement parts (if required) can be purchased at any of the following websites:

searspartrsdirect.com
pcappliancerepair.com
appliancepartspros.com
repairclinic.com

Prices vary between sites, so shop and compare. the first three sites listed also have helpful exploded view parts illustrations to assist you with locating and properly identifying the parts you may need.

If you have any questions, please post back and let me know. I hope this helps you.

This is a bit late, but it is probably the rings inside the machine. I sent mine to the repair shop in San Francisco and it was about $120 to fix. It works GREAT now. Coffee is back to like new.

Leaking

You need to contact Delonghi and order a part. This is the steam/water outlet assembly. This part includes an electronic solenoid which controls the water and steam output. I have had this problem 3 times. You may find the steam/ water is very loose when you try to wobble it sideways. This is the indication as to what is the problem, (as mentioned above).

Water leaking into tub

This sounds like a bad water valve. Replace the water valve and it should stop the water leak.

Water leaking from the bottom of the washer at the rear right corner!

firstly check that the inflow water pipes connected to the machine are connected correctly, feel around the pipes that touch the machine to see if there is any water. If there is the washers may need replacing on the pipe. Or the pipe may simply have got a bit loose through the machines spinning.
