Question about Acer Aspire One PC Notebook
Its sounds like you are using vista or windows 7. if you are getting this startup action then one of 2 things have happened. 1) your harddrives has bad sectors or blocks right where th OS writes the root directory. i say this because ive already had 3 customers come to me with the same startup action. two had failing harddrives, the other had --> 2) a corrupted bootloader. vista and windows 7 uses a bootloader, not a boot.ini like xp and its predacessors. to fix this, the only thing i did was do a failed google search and resorted to a backup the data and reload method. either way, you are going to have to reload the OS.
