Question about Polaroid TDA-03211C 32 in. LCD HDTV

Flat screen with DVD player... Polaroid TV.. Pic comes on for a couple seconds then screen goes black but I still have the sound???!?!?!?!?! it is about 2 yrs old.. Paid about 900 bucks...

I am thinking power supply or inverter board here. Look for swelled capacitors in the power supply first......if they all look normal,then price and inverter at shopjimmy.com or ebay..........if you do not have technical ability,a reputable shop may be able to fix for less than $200

After i power my polaroid tv on the screen shows for about 3 seconds then goes black what causes that


Its a Lcd so if it stays on turn off all the lights (we want a dark room) and with flashlight look carefully at the screen to see if you see a faint image of a picture there or not.

Tv blacked out no sound either, but power light comes on and off


just talked to polaroid because mine did the same thing......... power light is on and when you first power it on..... the polaroid screen appears for a second and then goes out............. they told me it sound like the control box and would cost me 225.00 to have it fixed............. does anyone know how to get a control box from some one other than polaroid....
my tv is TDA-03211C 32 inch with built in DVD

TV Has Sound but no picture


Change or move yellow one, of the cables, or component. if not then something you need from expert..

Not worth repairing,just get a seperate DVD player hook to the tv.It very cheap these day.

Capacitors on the power pack are going bad they need to be replaced that should fix the problem.
