Wat kind of amp batteries are you using. I use 2700Ma cells en they work great. Normal disposable batteries are to weak for the camera.

Excuse me for my english.

Its probably that this is a motherboard error, if the camera are dropped or have received a pressure. this is not a good signal. have you see if the lenns prove to open in the moment taht you turn on the camera??
if you hear a little rumor of the lens....is probably that this is a lens damage. if you hear nothing its possible that is lens damage or motherboard damage. to first control better that the batterie charger dont are faulty??? it s possible that the batterie are new but the charger dont charge the batteries proper . if batterie and charger is ok. this is a charatteristic, lens or motherboard failure. its important to find a onest camera repairer. to open the camera and look if the camera have eletronic damage, or only a faul contact problem, from a internal contact flat. good luck

Pentax Optio E20 will not turn on.

The green light only means the memory card is getting power. That nothing else comes on indicates a serious problem that requires a trip to your local camera shop for help.

My brand new samsung s760 camera wont turn on

Charge for 1 hour.
Pull battery's and see if they have power.
If Power is good Make sure they are in correctly
If Dead Replace battery's. ,

The only other thing it Might be, You said the Camera was New, But if the battery's hold a charge the Battery Door might have lost it's Contacts and the battery's won't work without it, It may have been returned to the store before you got it..

My Nikon Coolpix L1 Digital Camera won't turn on but I do get an indication of the green light for a second but the lens won't extend..

hi there,

i had a similar problem, in that the green light would flash but nothing would happen,

best to try a brand new set of batteries, and if that doesn't work, the ribbon which brings power from the batteries to everythin else may not be connected fully. if you have the skill, or know some one with the skill, just open the camera up, and check all the ribbons (the power ribbon is identified generally as a green ribbon).

hope this helps :)

Camera won't turn on

Are you using Lithium batteries?

ALL Kodak cameras have huge problems with alkaline batteries (including brand new ones)..

Hope this helps.

Will not turn on

Sounds like your lens is stuck. Try a gentle tug and it should open all the way. Then you can power your camera down.
