Question about Frigidaire PLEF398AC Electric Kitchen Range
I have "gallery" model electric ceramic top stove; all burners went off at once and display "f5" after a couple of hours i attempted to turn a burner on did not get a display. I proceeded to turn off the electrical power to the stove on and off and re-attempted to turn the stove on once again; this time i got a code "f5" and was not successful turning any of the burners on. The burners on the right displayed "f5" while there was no display at all on the burners to the left side of the stove. The time and the oven still were still functioning. Can you help; I really can't afford repairing it or buying a new stove.
Thanks for using FixYa. Error F5 means that the control board has failed and to resolve this unfortunately you’ll have to replace the control board. Please do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.
