Ok if first install didnt go properly yes totally uninstall the bad one if you have a antivirus that cleans your registry or any registry cleaner use it. then turn off machine, then reboot check and make sure it has dissapeared
then redo now suggestion one , see when it asks no directory exist do you want us to create one "answer yes" then let it proceed.
I think you would be ok. after install i know i am anal but i suggest you to restart your machine if it doesnt do it for you then reboot again,so the program can be correctly recorded in your registry and in your hard drive
