Cheapest thing to check is your cables. get new ones. if it is jumping and flickering leading to eventual premature shutdown of the projector then you need a new power supply/ballast with the wire upgrade on it.

Screen keep jumping

This is probably a voltage issue with the power supply especially if it is an LP70 type projector. If not it is still a power supply problem that will have to be fixed.

Flashing yellow light. paper does not load.

It's trying to say that the page you are trying to print is too complex. If you press the button to cintinue it may print out part of the page. Check the printer driver for print resolution settings. Change it to 300dpi and try again. Or, you could always add some extra memory to the printer. If you decide to add extra memeory, don't forget to tell the print driver it has more memory

InFocus LP70 projector is running hot

clean the dust out of it with canned air. the dust keeps in the heat that the projector is trying to expell. it also shortens the life of the lamp.

I want to transfer data from my dial-up desktop, to my new laptop high-speed broadband. How?

Several ways:
1.) 4GB flash drive
2.) External USB drive (320GB or more)
3.) Burn CD or DVD on the desktop and copy to the laptop
4.) Connect them in a local or ad hoc network (not too easy)
I'm sure other expers will have more ideas...

Anyway, at the desktop, run the "Files and Settings Transfer Wizard" to gather your desktop info, such as favorites, desktop icons, My Documents, etc:
[Start]
[All Programs]
[Accessories]
[System Tools]
[Files and Transfer Wizard] [Next]
At the desktop, answwer [Old Computer] [Next]
Cintinue to answer the questions
If you have a lot of music or loots of pictures, then just transfer the "Settings Only".

After a successful transfer of the settings, run the wizard again and transfer your "Data Only"

Hope this gets you started.

Display

To troubleshoot sound without picture issues, follow these steps:
  1. Reset the resolution of the console to 640x480. To do this, start the console, hold both triggers, and then press and hold the Y button as the console starts. For more information about how to reset your display settings, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base: 911059 (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/911059/ ) How to reset your Xbox 360 console display settings to the default display settings If you see a picture on the display after you try this step, you can continue to use the 640x480 resolution, or you can try to use a higher resolution setting. If you still cannot see a picture, continue to the next step.
  2. Disconnect the VGA HD cable from the display, and then remove the console power cord from the power outlet.
  3. Wait five seconds.
  4. Reconnect the console power cord to the power outlet, and then turn on the console.
  5. Reconnect the VGA HD cable to the display. If you can see a picture on the display after you try this step, you can continue to use the 640x480 resolution, or you can try to use a higher resolution setting.

Why does picture brightness change up and down on LP70.

Hi there

Sounds like the lamp is going , but it could be the Ballast as well ( lamp's powersupply ) Rather have a certified technician look at.

Infocus LP70 - It's all Green

A tinted image (whether green or another color) is almost always a symptom of a bad or damaged cable - or a loos cable connection. In your case, you'll likely need a new M1 to VGA cable (Part# SP-DVI-A-R).

Assuming that you've made sure that the cable connections are solid at both ends, there is a simple test to verify that this is a cable issue and not a costly projector issue. While the image is tinted green, open the menu. If the menu colors appear fine while the rest of the image is still tinted green it's the cable.
