Question about Whirlpool ACC108PS Air Conditioner
I have a Whirlpool window air conditioner (model #ACM102XKO) and the coils periodically freeze up. What can be done to correct this problem?
Make sure blower is running at the proper speed, if it's running to slow do to bad bearing or capacitor, the coil will freeze up.
Check evaporator coil and filter to see if they are dirty if they are then the coil will freeze up
Check the charge if it's low on refrigerant the coil will freeze up.
If your not sure how to check these things, then you should have a HVAC company, check it out for you.
