Question about Sharp R-520LK Microwave Oven
The microwave oven has got a couple of safety components to protect it and the people from harm. One is an interlock switch to prevent it starting if door is not properly closed. The other is a thermal fuse which blows if the oven becomes too hot.
In your case it is likely the thermal fuse is blown. This prevents the oven turntable, fan and the magnetron (the main microwave generator) from starting.
You can find the details in the service manual
But I would not recommend you to fix it yourself if you are not familiar with electrical gadgets, especially the micorwave because it is unsafe and has very high voltage.
