Question about Washing Machines
Indesit 1200 WIDL126 washing machine boil washes everything at 30 degrees and then stops spinning, any ideas?
Probably the NTC temperature sensor is faulty. This is a circular device with 2 terminals fitted into the rear of the drum just above the heater element. This is easily checked if you have access to a multimeter. Just remove the connectors and measure the resistance with the multimeter. The value measured should be about 20Kohms at 20 degrees centigrade (ave. Room temp). The sensor is easily replaced. Just carefully prize it out with a blunt implement. Fit the new one using a small amount of liquid soap applied to the grommet. Take care not to damage the grommet or it will leak. The sensor costs about 10 pounds

Make sure you have connected the cold water feed and not a hot water supply, these machines need a cold water feed only
