Question about Kyocera Copystar CS-1820 Black and White Copier
Its a misfeed in the fusing section. The paper didn't get to the exit sensor after the registration roller by the drum was activated. Check the fuser and drum areas. It can be caused by a dirty exit sensor, registration rollers not having pressure, a bad fuser roller or drive gear, or the exit rollers not making good contact.

It Can Also Be That the solinoids have sticky pads
Causing the same error as a 40 Jam from cassette and 20 Jam from MP tray
To fix these I recomend you replace pads on the Pickup, registration and MP tray solinoids
Remove the covers on the right side
remove the control board connectors on the left looking in that side held on with three screws
you should see 2 of the solinoids then
and there is another solinoid under a tan cover right below those solinoids
remove the old padding, and put in new padding
that will fix those sticking solinoids
the pads act as a damper for sound as well as helping to push the claw back out because the springs may not have enough pull to return them home
