My washer wont rinse or spin and when its finished washing it gets to rinse cycle and beeps and error code e4 comes up i emptied clothes and it still wont work

No make or model came through with your question... so the FIRST GUESS... is ... THIS IS A NEW RELATIONSHIP with a "HE" (HIGH EFFIEIENCY) washing machine.

You can CONTAMINATE your machine quite badly by not using THE RECOMMENDED "HE" rated detergents... & CLEANERS.

These new machines will rapidly deteriorate in performance... if the APPROPRIATE (HE) detergents ARE NOT USED.

Sensors sample the detergent/dirt in the water to enable the wash cycle to adjust wash time & water levels...

By NOT FOLLOWING the INSTRUCTIONS you are risking PERMANANT DAMAGE to these sensors...

Read your OWNERS MANUAL... There-in (I believe you will find
HE cleaners (not cheap) are recommended to ATTEMPT to restore performance...

Else you are looking at an EXPENSIVE SERVICE CALL on a NEW MACHINE.. Who knows... MAYBE it will be covered under your WARRANTY... Stranger things have happened (these days).

Good luck with that.

Washer not spining and empting of water

Sounds like your pump has died, you can take it to a repair shop to be fixed, of you can get the model number of your washer, order a part and install it yourself.

Also if the washer is old enough or had enough use that the pump is dead, chances are the belt needs replaced to drive the drum, but also pump can cost nearly as much as a washer, so with your unit having more than one potential problem, it may be worth getting a full new washer.

Sometimes you need to just weigh up the situation and think if something is worth spending money on, then eventually it would need replaced anyway.

Washing Machine does not drain all the water

Hello nsukiwa.

What is the model number?????????????????????
As I am working blindly for you!
Here are some ideas, until I have the model number.

You said, your washer is a Hotpoint type. When emptying the water it never finishes all the water. You have to throw the drain pipe on the floor to drain it dry.

I'm searching for answers to your problem with these questions!!
1. How long is the drain pipe and does it have to pump up higher than the machine to reach the drain?
As if it is in the basement and the drain pipe above it?
In this case you would need an external pump with some machines!

2. Is the water visible in the bottom of the machine when the load is done?
Or do you just detect some water left in the hose?
There usually is some water left in the hose, but it is not supposed to be visable in the machines tub.

3. I have a Speed Queen washer because this machine can pump the water up above the washer for 7 feet straight up to the drain above!
Most machines are not capable to do this!

I am awaiting your answersHuuum
