Question about Ovens
I have a Creda Capri C150G/L oven and the ignition sparker no longer works. I presume that the battery needs to be replace but I am unable to find out where it is located. Can you help please.
I downloaded the manual from
http://www.manualsmania.com and here is the section on replacing the battery:
Use an alkaline AA battery. The battery holder is located in the plinth panel below the oven door.Open the oven door fully. Press the tag on the left hand side of the battery holder/cover and withdraw it just enough to get access to thebattery. Fit the new battery with the end marked "+" on the same side ofthe battery holder as the red lead. Replace the battery holder by pushingit firmly into the hole in the plinth.

if the grill is constant sparking when the oven was on and turns off when the oven is not in use then u either have a defective pcb/ht lead or electrode if it is self lighting or if you have to push in a button then this button or control will have a problem
