Riding mower won't start

Murry 10 hp riding mower ran fine, new battery. I turned it over to replace the blades and it ran fine for a few minutes. All the sudden it quit running and will not restart. When I try to start it it just bumps and doesn't really do anything.
Did it lock up? I can easily turn the blade.

Take the spark plug out and see if the engine will turn over then, gas will probably come out of the cylinder cause you flooded it when you turned it over after you get the gas out of the cylinder, put the cleaned spark plug back in and it should start

I have a Toro LX425 riding mower with a new battery. Tries to turn over for a few seconds and then the battery is dead. Jump started with a car battery. Fired up fine. Ran for 45 minutes cutting grass....

Your most likely talking new starter, never jump start a lawnmower with car,to much amps.fries your starter resulting in like low battery condition,If interested can give you a place you can get a resonable price ,Most places will shock you over 120 dollers.

If you are jumping the solenoid and it cranks but wont start leave the key in the on position and give it a try. Try replacing the solenoid and the wires conecting it to the battery.
