I am not sure if you mean (1) it is rubbing against the wheel rim all of the time, or you mean (2) it rubs against the rubber tire. Is this just on one side, or on both sides? Can you explain a bit more?

A simple fix is to give the brakes a really good squeeze and this will stretch the cable just a little and should stop them from rubbing. If how ever the rubbing is happening on just one part of the wheel then your wheel may be warped and need repairing by a cycle shop.

I have a Schwinn women's 21 speed Frontier. Frame in purple serial #0378. I wanted to know the year and specs. On it? Thank you!

First thing, is headbadge black and red? Does it say it was made in China, either on the headbadge or somewhere else on the frame. If so, the bike has no value as an antique bicycle. If its in running condition, tires hold air, brakes work and gears shift its about a $60 to $ 75 bike

How do i adjust the fenders on the schwinn meridian trike so they don't rub on the tires?

The real problem is with the lack of serious fender mounting hardware from Schwinn. There needs to be a solid one piece brace connecting both fenders and attaching to frame at the seat support.

These fenders will wobble and bend with little or no effort or pressure. A SERIOUS DESIGN FLAW!!! SHAME ON SCHWINN ENGENEERSa09fa725-94b1-4de7-ac1b-7d7fc027737a.jpg

I too have a clicking in the rear end, it has gotted worce. A scrssching noise now heard. Walking nent to it has not helped, appears to be internal.

It could be one of many things,The first Thing I would do is check whereabouts the noise is actually coming from,ie lifting the back of the bike up with a help of a friend and spinning the wheels one at a time and after both wheels being spun rotate the pedals and see if its coming from the gear cog at the rear,Whatever is the problem the part needs to be cleaned out and a new part put back on.It may be just a cracked ball race in one of the wheel spindles.

The brakes are rubbing against the tire. How do you adjust them?

Your wheel is probably bent and has to be trued. You cannot adjust your brakes without the wheel being straight. You will have to take it to get serviced unless you have a truing stand and a good quality spoke wrench.
