Power but no display

Hello,
It could be a hardware or software problem. You need to isolate the problem.
To isolate the problem, restart your computer and tap F8 until you see the options to boot to safe mode. Use the arrow keys to highlight safe mode. Hit enter.
If you can boot to safe mode, then do a system restore inside safe mode to revert the computer config back to a known good date.
If you can't boot to safe mode, then it's for sure a hardware issue and you need to get it serviced by a technician.

When I try to turn on my laptop, it starts loading and freezes while loading files. then the "Windows Boot Manager" screen appears and it reads, "Windows has encountered a problem...

Please make sure all devices are connected to your computer properly. Access it in safe mode and I am sure it would run, in in the safe mode just clean Windows registry database using some reliable software such as Reginout Cleaner. After cleanup process, start your computer normally.

Hope it would help you.

Can't get computer out of safe mode

From Windows Safe Mode click Start / Shutdown and restart the computer. This should start the computer automatically back into Normal Mode.
Note: Many users believe that they are still in Safe Mode because the colors or video may not look correct. Unless in the corners of the screen it says "Safe Mode", you are not in Safe Mode.
If you are rebooting the computer and it is rebooting back into Safe Mode (it does say "Safe Mode" in each of the corners), it is likely another problem exists with Windows preventing it from loading into Normal Windows.

Forgotten password

i think if you start in safe mode (press the power button like you would when you start it normally and then start tapping the f 8 button and it should go to a black screen with white writing and you can choose safe mode) and log in as administrator you can go to the control panel and go to user accounts and i think you can erase the password from her account in there somewhere.
let me know if that works

Safe mode

Have you tried doing a system restore in safe mode? Click on Start-->Programs-->Accessories-->System Tools-->System Restore. Pick a date prior to you installing whatever screwed up your computer.

Laptop won't comeback on

Try safe mode.

On safe mode return the computer to an earlier date configuration.

At some point will ask if you want to do that. And say yes.

Make sure that if for some some reasons it asks you to restore the computer to factory settings, you should say no. I hope you can do this.
