Whats wrong with phone when cant hear it ringing person and cant hear them but they can hear me

can you hear them when you have it set to speaker phone? the music part plays through a speaker and the phone uses the ear piece to make sounds, your earpiece is bad, they sell them on ebay for $10.00 must be very common problem.

The sound is gone. I cannot hear anything when somebody calls me. However, the alarm sounds and all the rings. I can hear my music but only with earphones.

The loudspeaker is what the ringer uses as does the music, the inner speaker is used for hearing calls. Sounds like your inner speaker is faulty, check with where you bought it and it may be free to repair if its still under warranty (usually 12 months from date of purchase)

I just want to make my phone louder.

Hi,

You mean which sound music sound or phone hearing sound.

If hearing sound specify the model no.

You can make music sound through two options.

1)Download music sound booster from net. and install in the phone

2)Play song which are 320kpbs.

You cant change the speaker that's all.

Please do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

Thank you for using fixya have a nice day:-)

I'm having the same problem. Try this, plug some headphones into your phone and then activate your music and while your music is playing unplug your headphones. It worked for me.

It sounds like your speaker has died. They use a different speaker for music playing.
