If my memory is correct, the dome is removed simply by grabbing it and turning it counter clockwise. See the link below for a parts breakdown.

How to connect water line to water inlet valve

The brass ring cannot be reused. You cannot buy it separately but it is inside any 1/4" fittings available in your local adware store.
be sure to cut the end of the waterline and install the ring on a Fresh section. Also, make sure the waterline is lined up with the valve inlet before trying to tighten up.

MY BOBBIN CASE FELL OUT TWO PIECES HOW DO I PUT IT BACK TOGETHER

I assume you actually mean the metal ring that holds the small round case that the bobbin itself sits in. There are usually two arms that swing in to hold that larger metal ring in place and then there is a plastic and metal piece that sit behind the large metal ring. fit the plastic piece that may look somewhat like a scoop next to the metal piece that usually has the post the the bobbin fits onto and has a quite sharp tooth on it. The metal ring then goes on to hold those two pieces in place and the two arms swing in to hold the metal ring into place. The bobbin or bobbin case now can be put back in. Hint on metal ring placement: they almost always have a notch that goes at the very top where the arm on the bobbin case sits in when it is in place. You may find it easiest to do this with the machine laying on its back so you don't have to have 4 hands to hold everything in place while putting everything back in.
Good luck!

I have a Hampton Bay ceiling fan/lamp where the lamp dome is apparently very tight into the housing. I pressed up and turned in the direction noted to remove the dome. The dome houseing came down and is...

Most light domes twist on or off or have thumb screws to loosen and lower the dome.It sounds like you removed the light kit assembly instead of the dome.Try to put back by twisting in place the light kit assembly and look for screws,or hold back on trim and turn just glass dome do not use too much force .I checked web site but can't find your model. It is unusual to not be able to just remove glass dome.Look closely at how the glass dome is positioned. If no screws are visible either the glass part unscrews or the ring unscrews allowing glass dome to be removed.Good Luck.I have installed many ceiling fans the problem is if you didn't install it your at a disadvantage.GOOD LUCK.

I have a Kubota tractor that the key broke off in the ignition. I need to get the ignition switch out to take it to a keysmith. How do I go about removing it without breaking anything? There is a sheet...

The key switch itself will have an outer locking ring . This has threads on it. If you look closely at the round part of the switch outward from the broken off key you will see some indentations. These are there to grasp that outer ring with a tool to unscrew that outer ring from the lock itself.
This outer ring is what holds the switch to the sheet metal. Please disconnect your ground wire from your battery as there is live juice to the switch. ( Many times once the outer ring is removed there is enough room to remove the assembly from the rear without removing any sheet metal )

Closet ceiling light, simple dome and metal ring,

Hello. There is always a way to remove the dome. If there is a metal nipple in the center of the dome, it will unscrew. Otherwise, the entire glass dome will unscrew. Regards, Joe

I have a Whirlpool Ultimate Care II Washer. I was unloading it this morning and my ring got caught and the stone popped out. I think it is under the agitator and I would like to take it out to look, but...

Remove the frabic dispenser from the agitator. Reach in and grasp the small raised handles of the inside dome cover and pull it out. The bolt showing is a 7/16th size. You'll need to hold the fin of the agitator to unbolt it. No need to remove it completely, just unscrew it until it moves freely. Lift up the agitator. Reverse the process to re-assemble.

Dome lights won't go out / 93 buick century

your doorswitch is inside the door on the striker latch. You will need to remove the door panel to access. chances are it is stuck in the closed position. Your seatbelt latch sensor has also gone bad. It is located inside the receptacle of the seatbelt. If you only want to diengage the light, look for the molex plug attached to the wire coming from the seatbelt receptacle.

Microwave door handle replacement

Solution for GE Spacemaker Ovens (my model is JVM1650BH05)

1- Remove door by lifting it out of hinges. You will need to remove grille first (2 set screws).
2- Carefully pry off the plastic inside door trim. Use a fine knife or putty knife. There are 10 tabs holding the trim from behind. It's OK if you break a tab! Try to pull out as straight as possible.
3- Once the trim is off, remove the 2 visible screws that hold the door handle. NOTE: There are 2 invisible screws so you are not done yet!
4- You now need to remove the metal ring that holds the latches. To do that, grab the metal ring and using your other hand, release each plastic tab one by one (same tabs as above).
5- Once the metal ring is loose, you will see 2 screws. Remove them if they are still there.
6- Position your new handle and attach using the first 2 screws.
7- Reposition the metal ring by re-snapping it in place. Install the other 2 screws.
8- Replace the plastic trim by snapping it back in place
9- Reinstall door and grille. Tell wife or hubby that you are a genius!

Bonus: use metal washers when screwing down the 2 first screws.
