The flasher unit is located on the RH steering column opening reinforcement, and is attached by a bracket.
The combination turn signal and hazard flasher can be removed by pressing the plastic retaining clip (attached to the flasher housing) and pulling straight rearward. To install a new flasher, align the bracket with the track on the flasher housing. Then push the flasher forward until it snaps into the bracket.
SOURCE: turn signal flasher needs replaced
educated guess..flasher units (2) one for signals the other for emerg flashers usually located in fuse block under dash drivers side kick panel , glove box area ..or engine compartment near battery
Remove the signal lever (switch) clean the grease completely and lube again with di-electric grease.
This should solve your problem.
SOURCE: replace turn signal flasher. where is it located?
Underdash, in the driver side; review the Repair Manual ZJ-Secc-8W-Wiring-Diagrams (page 8, fig. 13)
I really hope helped with this (remember rated this help). Good luck.
