I have a CASIO EX P600.
The flash is not working. The red light on the flash just keeping blinking red. The green light never comes on showing that the flash has been charged. I got a new battery and that didn't fix it.
Any suggestions? I tried resetting it.

I have a casio exilim ex-z60 which I bought 2 yrs ago. I've had problems with my flash going off each time I turned on and off the camera, about 5 months ago. Now the flash does not work. Need help on how to restore the flash bulb or battery in the camera.
I have the same problem but could not find any solution as yet.
My work around is to switch of the flash and shoot with manual controls - of course that only works well when using a tripod or someting similar.
I think it is a bug with the flash loader wich seems not to give the go for shooting until flash preload is finished. If anybody has a real solution I'd be happy to read.
Try resetting your camera and see if that helps. Sometimes it does.
In REC mode press menu
go to setup tab
go up to reset
press right arrow & highlight reset
If that doesn't work you are probably going to have to send it in.
