HI. I will need your entire model number, if possible. This will insure that you will receive the proper repair information during our session. I suspect that your control timer mechanism has failed, due to timer motor damage. This is common in most cases when the dial dose not advance or rotate, correctly. This type of failure within the mechanism will not allow for a correct sequential washing session.

Please post the model number so that i may give you the accurate part numbers needed and repair diagrams, as well.

Thanks..

Ok, i have to report some very unfortunate news here. The actual part that you need is no longer in circulation. The actual control device has been discontinued, permanently. There are no other replacement control device listed in the data base at this time and the manufacture has stated that there will be no future replacement control device manufactured as well.

The only recourse here is to purchase an entirely newer unit. I do apologize for this unfortunate news.

My cabrio washing machine want start

start with Activating the service diagnostic modes. You can start with the cycle selector knob at any position.

  1. Be sure the washer is in standby mode (plugged in with all indicators off).
  2. Perform the following sequence of movement using the cycle selector knob. NOTE: After reset, sequence "a" through "e" must be completed within 6 seconds. When it tells you to rotate the cycle selector knob, it means 1 click, not a full turn. Once you have completed the cycle knob turns reset and "a" through "e", turn the cycle selector 1 click clockwise from the position it is already in. This is the fault code display mode. Then press the start button. Each time you turn the cycle selector knob 1 click clockwise after pressing start will show you an error code. Note: this washer stores 4 codes if any. The error codes on this washer are displayed in this format: F5 E3, F7 E1, etc. There is an error code chart in the image below.

If there are no error codes stored, I recommend that you start from the beginning (step 1 above) and then run the Automatic test mode. If this unit detects a problem, it will display the error at the end of this test.

Post the results back to me.

WHDSR209DWW on/off button will not engage to spin the cycle selector dial

The cycle selector is not engaged onto the timer shaft. Need to remove the on/off knob by removing the plastic "U" clip. Remove the cycle selctor knob and check that the steel spring clip on the selector is fully seated. Re-install the cycle selector onto the timer shaft aligning the selector key with the with tthe notch on the timer shaft. Re-install the on/off knob.

The cycle selector and on/off combination is a poor design. Users press the on/off knob in and turn clockwise to set the wash cycle. If you're not gentle this action wears the teeth on the timer shaft and the user has to press harder and harder to set the wash cycle. This pressing causes the cycle selector to be pushed off the timer shaft and you can no longer operate the machine.

VERY IMPORTANT:
Stop using the on/off knob to set the wash cycle. Press on the cycle selector to set the wash cycle. Use the on/off knob only for starting or stopping the machine. Don't press or pull too hard on the on/off knob or you will wind up pushing the cycle selector off the timer shaft.

Kenmore model 110.24642300 will not cycle through wash cycles...will stay stuck in wash cycle until the knob is manually turned to rinse/spint/etc. Would this be a bad knob or timer or both? Thanks!

Start a cycle and remove the knob. If it still stays in agitation mode and won't advance to the spin, then you have a bad timer, or no power to the timer motor(very unlikely). If your washer goes through the cycles with the knob off then you have a bad timer knob. I have seen stripped knobs causing the timer to bind up and not advance. Good Luck Appliance Specialists

Sounds like you need a new timer. Costs about $50 - $60. I had the same problem. The knob now turns. Hope this helps.

Ken 110 Final water does not pump out

Depends what you mean by "last bit".

The washer is designed to keep SOME water in the tub to keep the seals moist between loads.

It should not be visible.

The drain is timed - so if your SEEING water in the tub - chances are good the drain line/inlet screen is plugged.

Kenmore series 80 model 110

If you are talking about the Cycle Selection knob, turn the washer to an OFF position, or unplug. I can't remember if you need to pull the knob out or leave pushed in, but the knob will come off by turning it counter-clockwise. After unscrewing it and removing, the plastic dial under the center knob will simply pull off. I hope this helps you. If you need further assistance, please let me know.

Speed Queen HD comercial washer

Its sounds like you need a replacement knob, if you can turn the disc behind it to start a cycle and the machine times out find the timer is probably still good, do a Google search for Speed Queen parts, and buy the correct replacement knob.
