Hey wublade,
I read somehwere on this site that you have had a problem with your monitor. I think I have exactly the same problem. My monitor goes to power saving mode when i turn it on (the light becomes orange). When I turn the monitor off and back on again I get a screen for not even a second and then it goes back to power savind mode again. I really hope you have fixed this problem and can help me with this, because I really hate to work on my television like this..
Oh, by the way, I checked again and it doesn't go to power save mode. It just turns black with the light still on greenish. I got confused because of some of the other problems with the LG screens..Oh, by the way, I checked again and it doesn't go to power save mode. It just turns black with the light still on greenish. When you are on on screen menu setup, there should be 'reset to factory setting' to put it back to factory default setting. I am not sure which exact model you have, but you cann download user manuals here: http://www.retrevo.com/search?q=LG+Flatron+L1718S+

Hi
My screen developed exactly the same problem. It appears to be a hardwear problem associated with the screen it's self. continuity test is ok on the lead so I took it back to the shop under warranty and hey presto, the replacement works. I don't know what the problem is but there are a number of other folks on another thread with the same problem and their entries are dated May 09 too.
