Activate 2001 Yamaha XL 800

From a phone other than the phone you want to activate, call the customer service # listed on the card you bought, it is normally a toll free # like 1-800. You will need to pull the battery out of the phone you want to activate because customer service will need the esn and MEID or IMEI off the sticker under the battery. You can also activate online by going to the website printed on your activation card and following the prompts after clicking the link activate on the website

You'll see 2 small caps in the carburettor cover.
Do that fogging only in very well ventilated area ( outside thus).
Run the engine on idle, open both caps, spray as much fogging oil in both holes ( use 2 cans) till the engine stalls.
Close the caps.
Done...

possible air leak at your cylinder base gasket or a crank seal.

Important to have your antenna have a clear view of the SW sky and that you can hear channel 1 clearly. Then call the 800 number to get the radio activated. If you don't have a clear pathway to the SW for the antenna, it's not going to work.

Have you check fluid levels? Sounds like there may be a clog with in the lines themselves. Check the lines after the motor. Good luck.

It is unclear to me as to what you mean when you say they do not activate. Does that mean that they just don't play, or does it mean that your receiver doesn't show them on the display? If your not hearing the sound from the speakers, are you sure your dvd movie is capable of outputting 7.1 or is it only 5.1?
If the receiver doesn't show the speakers on the display, try running through the speaker setup again to make sure you selected both sides and rears for the setup.

Have you done a compression test on all cylinders? My guess is you have a dead cylinder (no oil to one or more cylinders causing loss of power). If the compression test passes (all cylinders equal and higher than 100-110 psi) you have a restricted exhaust from a failed catalytic converter that has broken apart.

one of your brake lamp switches is struck on put your ear to the two switches, as you activate the brake you should be able to hear a "click"as the switch activates. if one doesn't disconnect that switch, and see if the lamp goes out.
