First turn off your anti-virus program, or put it to a pause or stop protection mode. some anti-virus software oftentimes look at installer packages and drivers to be malicious and virus like. after doing my suggestion try installing it now. hope this helps you. please leave a comment or vote or rate me..

Log into Windows Safe Mode. To get to safe mode reboot your computer and start pressing the F8 key repeatedly until the Safe Mode options screen appears. You want Safe Mode which is the first option, not Safe Mode with Networking.
If any user id’s show up select the Administrator, if not don’t worry about it. Once safe mode is up Click on My Computer and open your C: drive. Click on Tools/Folder Options/View. Then click on Show Hidden Files and Folders.
Green AV is normally located by navigating to the following directories: C:\Program Files\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\GAV\gav.exe
Delete gav.exe which is the executable module for the virus
Delete mgrdll.exe this is the messenger for gav that keeps sending you the messges and popups
Delete the folder GAV (just hit your back arrow one time to get back to folder Application Data then you will be able to see and delete folder GAV
Right Click on your Recycle Bin and select Empty Recycle Bin or Double Click on your Recycle Bin and select Empty Recycle Bin
Now just reboot your machine!

Unable to reinstall windows xp

try it again with the bootable floppy disk... if you have the option use fdisk /mbr and then format the computer and reinstall using the cd you have. the fdisk /mbr command will get rid of any virus residing in your master boot record.

I have an intex it-305wc webcam when i reinstall the drivers. After which whenever i start the camera the system restarts. My OS is XP.

I've had this problem, and I had to clean out my registry for it to work properly again. I used Regpro to automatically clean out my registry, you can find similar programs online that will do the same.

Driver for Webcam Keeps Flashing new windows when I try 2 install

Yeah, my anti-virus programs caught the file, "fixcamera.exe" as a trojan. I have notified, not that they will care or do anything about it.

Its a new printer that i purchased and when i got to the part of installing the software i inserted the cd and nothing comes out on the monitor screen . i have windows vista

Navigate to the CD drive. To do this, click on "Computer" either from the desktop or from the Windows logo round button on the lower left of your screen. You should find "Computer" on the menu. Once in there, right-click on your CD drive and select explore. This will show you the contents of the CD. Double click on the setup.exe file to run the setup and installation.
