Yep chances are it will not work since the product is also discontinued, check support (logitech) if they'll come up with a patch for it to work on vista, but i guess that will cost something as well...

Try the windows 2000 drive for it as a workaround.

Hello,
How about checking with Logitech if they have a vista software for the device?

Just a suggestion. It's more likely that they could configure their software for vista than vista to accept the older software.

Thanks,
Lolita

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Can not get Adobe PhotoDeluxe2.0 to install on windows 7. Worked fine on Vista

Adobe Photo Deluxe is an older program that does not seem to be compatible with Windows 7. you should contact Adobe to see if they have an updated version.

However, you can try the following to see if it will help.
If the program is not compatible, then you may try to install and run the program in compatibility mode.
Use the following steps:
1)Right click on the Program
2)Click on Properties
3)Click on Compatibility tab
4)Select Run this program in compatibility mode and select Windows Vista or whatever operating system the program was running successfully.

Not wroking on my windows 7 ultimate

Neither Logitech nor Microsoft wrote drivers for this webcam for Windows 7.

As a result, it is not supported by Windows 7 and will most likely never be supported.

It's my suspicion that Microsoft gets kick-backs for not supporting old hardware so the peripheral makers can make money selling new equipment.

You might be able to get it to work by running the compatibility wizard. The Microsoft.com website explains how to run older programs in Vista in compatibility mode. Check out this link, for step by step, detailed instructions:

Not a computer problem as such
There is in general an issue with drivers for peripherals of all types and brands with VISTA and it seems the Manufacturer are digging their heels in and not making driver changes.
E-mail Microsoft support and see what they have to say
And keep kicking Epson
It is really up to peripheral manufacturer to keep up.

Meanwhile you could try this
Look up the Vista Help[My Computer- Help]
Check out Program Compatibility
The idea is you set the computer  to pretend is its an older system XP/98 etc and load the program  once that is set.
